Enter Grace. Literally, Saving Grace. Being a Christian, “Grace” is supposed to be an important word in my lexicon, but to be honest, I am just beginning to understand it and its magnitude.
As a kid, I was an avid reader who learned many life lessons from book friends like Fern Arable and Scout Finch. They often brought me comfort and hope, and I wondered if I could provide the same to a struggling young audience myself.
As a kid, I was pretty sure I’d have one of those lives where everything turned out exactly as I’d planned and I’d be confident in all my doings. Here I am mid-forty-ish, and I realize I’m not really even sure what I want to be when I grow up. But I’m working on it. These are my musings about what I consider the most important aspects to the fine art of figuring it all out.
